With their first in-person introductions and a variety of insights into the company, five new apprentices began their journey at BLOCK on August 3, 2026. Two industrial clerks, one mechatronics technician, one electronics technician, and one technical product designer are starting their professional careers with us this year.
CEO Wolfgang Reichelt, Head of Human Resources Tobias Kirschke, the trainers, and apprentices in later years of their training accompanied the new apprentices and their families throughout the afternoon. Wolfgang Reichelt officially welcomed the group, while Tobias Kirschke introduced the apprenticeship program at BLOCK and presented the new apprentices with their welcome bags.
The event became particularly personal when the more experienced apprentices shared insights into their daily lives at BLOCK. A joint tour of the company then provided an opportunity to become familiar with additional departments and meet some of their new colleagues.
Open conversations and excitement about the time ahead shaped the first meeting. The kickoff day already demonstrated the importance we place on personal connections at BLOCK – a successful start to their journey with the company.
