On June 12, 2025, our management team warmly welcomed a high-ranking delegation from the Chinese city of Kunshan. The delegation included Mr. Gao Yuli (Director, Kunshan Development and Reform Commission), Mr. Hong Chunyu (Deputy Director, Kunshan Municipal People’s Government Office), Mr. Zhang Zhihao (Deputy Mayor, Zhangpu Town People’s Government in Kunshan), and Ms. Jing Rui (Chief of Comprehensive Planning Section, Kunshan Development and Reform Commission). The visit was part of the ongoing and close exchange between our company, which has successfully operated a production site in Kunshan for several years, and economic representatives from the region.
During their time with us, the guests were given insights into our German headquarters and were informed about our strategic goals for the Kunshan site. Udo Leonhard Thiel emphasized our ambition in China: to establish BLOCK as the leading foreign transformer brand and one of the top manufacturers of electronic components in the country. Achieving this position in the coming years is seen as a key milestone in the further development of our brand and presence in China.
