Detuned reactors

Power factor correction measures are recommended for cost-effective operation of inductive consumers such as motors and transformers. Detuned reactors are used as power factor correction chokes. They create more defined network conditions by avoiding undefined resonance increases through attuning the series oscillator circuit to a non-critical frequency. Detuned reactors feature low inductance tolerance. Their linear inductance to well above the rated current, including with harmonics, ensures more power quality.

Overview:

◼︎ Thermal design for continuous operation with mains operation and harmonics
◼︎ Linear inductance to well above the rated current
◼︎ Improved impedance behavior
◼︎ No capacitor overload
